You’re not alone…find a mentor!

Don’t be afraid to admit it, you’re scared.

Scared about your career that is, and I’m here to tell you you shouoldn’t be because there’s help!

As a college student I don’t even have to bring up the stresses like money, classes and growing up in general. But its terrifying to think you have to have internships, build experience, build contacts, and oh yes, GET A JOB.

The good news is, you’re not the first and you certainly won’t be the last, so I’m positive you’ll survive.

Make it easier on yourself by asking for advice, help and  information. Find a mentor, or mentors that can help you build a successful career in PR.

Think of all the possibilities you have: peers, other PRSSA members, professors, advisers, PRSA members and social media!

I encourage you to find a mentor who you can look to, as well as look up to, and who is interested in your successs as a PR professional.
